Honestly this effect called 'backfire' really hurts the utility of these spellsĪnother weird rainbow rare card whose effect is to cast every single card on your deck and then consume them. I see no reason to ever add fling to your deck just so you can cast a high mana spell ONCE per fight, just try to get a mana gem instead. Fling will eat another card in your deck on the next shuffle until no cards are left. You are not gonna be able to use it again. Some people mention it can be used to cast high mana spells but like. I tried to think for a really long while but I really can not figure out any situation where fling can be a useful spell. I already dislike the 2-3 second anchor of default shiso's weapon and I can't imagine anyone using a spell like this even if they got ton of shield on them.

I know this is supposed to be a meme from that anime but come on. And to add insult to the injury this card is rainbow rare. excuse me WHAT?!? That sounds absolutely terrible imagine standing at the same spot for 7 seconds in a game where bosses themselves can deal 500 damage in like 5 seconds. It anchors you for 3 seconds and then after dealing damage anchors you again for 4 seconds. I have personally never used this card but according to it's description and the preview.
